The panel includes Neema Vedadi of Bat City Beats, Megan Tuberville of Root Cellar Catering, Kristina Gonzales of Moontower Rentals, Tacy Infante of Meritage Events, Lisa Hause with Lisa Hause Photography and Christina Barboza of Mohawk Austin will be moderating.

Panelist Bios:

Moderator: Christina Barboza (Mohawk Austin)

Christina Barboza is the Special Event Manager for Mohawk, an iconic music venue in the heart of downtown Austin. She had over 10 years of experience in special events and venue management with companies such as the Belmont and ZACH Theatre. Panelist: Megan Turbeville (Root Cellar Catering)

Megan Turbeville is the Owner and Executive Chef of the Root Cellar Catering Co. A Le Cordon Bleu trained chef, she has been in the industry for over 15 years and loves getting people to eat (and love) things they wouldn’t normally try. But don’t try to sell her on broccoli. When she’s not in the kitchen, you can find her in the garden, growing flowers and herbs...preferably with a glass of wine or a cocktail in hand.

Panelist: Kristina Gonzalez (Moontower Rentals)

Kristina Gonzalez Sander is the Director of Sales and Operations at Party at the Moontower Event Rentals, a design-forward event rental house specializing in modern-eclectic furniture and decor. She's also an advocate for women of color and AAPI women in arts and entrepreneurship as founder of In Bold Company and co-founder of misfits productions.

Panelist: Tacy Infante (Meritage Events)

Tacy Infante is the Vice President Co-Owner of Meritage Events, with offices in Dallas and Austin, Texas. Tacy has been in the events industry for over twenty years with clients flocking to her for her fresh perspective and bold vision. She has the innate ability to see both physical and virtual spaces as creative playgrounds and lives to craft memorable moments for both clients and attendees.

Panelist: Lisa Hause (Lisa Hause Photography)

As far back as I can remember, I had a camera in hand. My earliest inspiration was photographing a giant Oak tree in my neighborhood against the Texas sunset. After high school, I moved to the East Coast. First Cherry Hill, New Jersey and then Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Living in a new urban environment allowed my love and curiosity for photography to grow even more. Eventually, I would enroll in photography classes at a local College where my education would take me to the next level of my photographic journey. Soon after college, I was hired to be a wedding photographer at a studio in Bensalem, Pennsylvania just outside Philadelphia. You could say, this is when I never looked back. I fell in love with weddings.
